The Ed Murphey Memphis Mile, on Saturday evening, August 25, returns for another year of exciting racing action, and this year, the second edition has added a women's Mile. The track event offers $18,000 in guaranteed prize money, going 6-deep per gender: $2500, $2000, $1500, $1250, $1000 and $750. There will also be Memphis and Tennessee soil Mile record bonus money (breaking 3:58.35 or 4:35.00) and (3:55.65 or 4:30.12), $250 and $500, respectively.

The 2018 event will also host the fourth stop on the Bring Back the Mile Grand Prix Tour 2018.

Held in conjunction with one of HOKA’s Postal National Flagship events where state, regional and local high school runners will compete over the 3200m distance in preparation for their cross country seasons. Come see the pros run under the lights at Christian Brothers High School. FREE admission!
