Brief Chat: Leo and the Manzano Mile

Leo Manzano, who kicked past Matthew Centrowitz to defend his 1500-meter title at the 2012 USA Indoor Championships, is the founder and host of the Manzano Mile in Austin, Texas on March 24, a series of miles and mile relays for all age groups to be staged at the Texas School for the Deaf's track. In 2011, Manzano was third in the 1500 at the outdoor USA Track & Field Championships and was a semifinalist at the World Championships in South Korea. His season highlight was a 3:51.24 mile victory at the London Diamond League meet.
