Eric Holt finished third in the 2024 Penn Relays Mile, setting a personal track record of 3:51.46 and also besting the previous Relays record of 3:53.2 from 1974, and in June, finished second in the NYC Grand Prix 1500m, 3:34.05, another PR.

In 2023, he won the NYC Grand Prix 1500m in 3:37.07, and later in July, took the Sunset Tour 1500m in a personal record of 3:34.50. In August, Eric won the Brooklyn Mile, running 4:03, and the West Chester Mile in 3:55,99.

With a breakthru year in 2022, he won the West Chester Mile in 3:54.93 (track PR), the NACAC Championship 1500m gold medal (3:37.62, event record). The Empire Elite Track Club athlete also finished fourth at the outdoor USA Championships 1500 meters and the Guardian Mile (3:50.17).

At Binghamton University, Eric was a six-time America East Conference individual champion.

His senior year at Carmel High School, Holt won the New York state 1600 meter title and also placed third at the state cross country championships.
