A Day in the Life: Pro Athlete Garrett Heath
I very much relish time reading the news on my computer while sipping the morning brew to get the day started. It’s probably my favorite part of the day.

Garrett Heath's Day - Friday, April 29th
7:00am – Time to wake up. When I first get up, I typically guzzle a couple glasses of water to rehydrate and get the metabolism going again while I make my breakfast. At this point in my life, I've fully embraced the coffee culture in Seattle and get out of bed each morning looking forward to brewing that first cup of joe. Although I’ve really grown to love the mornings, I’m still a pretty slow mover when I first wake up and very much relish that time reading the news on my computer while sipping the morning brew to get the day started. It’s probably my favorite part of the day.
My daily pre-run breakfast consists of the heartiest oatmeal that I can throw together — usually some combo of oats, raisins, craisins, almonds or peanut butter, berries, a banana, occasionally yogurt, and always a lot of cinnamon on top.
