Travis Mahoney will go for a sub-4 minute Mile at Christian Brothers Academy

Travis Mahoney, who starred at Old Bridge High and Temple, will try to become one of very few runners to ever dip under the 4-minute Mile barrier on New Jersey soil when he attacks the track at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft on Tuesday night, July 15.

Mahoney's race is scheduled to go off at around 8:00pm.

This is not uncharted territory for Mahoney, who now runs for the NJ/NY Track Club. Mahoney owns a PR for the Mile of  3:58.61, which he ran when he was fifth in the Mile at the Valentine Invitational this past February at Boston University.
