This year’s traditional running of the world famous Mt. SAC Relays will mark the 55th year in a row that the very best athletes in track and field will once again gather in Walnut. Excitement is higher than ever this year because of the renewed interest in the sport generated by this summer’s Olympic Games.  We look forward to watching our current crop of Olympians up close and personal in Mt. SAC’s own Hilmer Lodge stadium this year.

Friday Schedule

  • 6:15pm - Girls' Invitational Mile
  • 6:22pm - Boys' Invitational Mile
  • 7:35pm - Men's Invitational Mile

Team USA Minnesota Athletes Race Ready for the Mile

Jon Peterson at Mt. SAC Relays; Gabriele Anderson, Heather Kampf, Meghan Peyton at USA 1 Mile Road Championships

MINNEAPOLIS – (April 17, 2013) – Team USA Minnesota’s Jon Peterson will run the Mile on the track at the 55th Mt. SAC Relays on Friday, April 19. The following week, Gabriele Anderson, Heather Kampf and Meghan Peyton will compete at the USA 1 Mile Road Championships on the streets of downtown Des Moines on Tuesday, April 23.
