Bring Back the Mile Featured on New Zealand’s RadioLIVE NZ Show

July 06, 2014

Why bother to bring back the Mile? Isn’t it from a time past?

For his RadioLIVE NZ show on Sunday, July 6, host Mark Sainsbury of New Zealand interviewed several people and groups who are trying to “bring back” something including BBTM’s founder Ryan Lamppa.

New Zealand has a rich running history and has produced such Mile greats as Jack Lovelock, Peter Snell, John Walker, Rod Dixon and Anne Audain and their current Mile ace Nick Willis, who recently clocked a sub-3:50 Mile and last year launched a well-attended Mile event in Michigan.

Here is the full audio interview.
