Fastest Married Couple Mile PR Combo

Top 10 talented track tandems span over a 30-plus year period

The recent marriage of top Mile athletes Aisha Praught & Will Leer prompted BBTM to compile a list of the fastest married couples in the Mile. Sitting at the top of the talented tandems are three-time U.S. Olympian Shannon Rowbury and her husband Pablo Solares, recording a combined time of 8 minutes, 14.86 seconds or an impressive 4:07.43 average. Rowbury also has the fastest women’s track PR in the top 10 (4:20.34), while Mark Carroll has the swiftest men’s PR (3:50.62), and with his wife Amy Rudolph, the couple holds the #2 Mile PR married combo ranking. The top 10 below ranges over a 30-plus year period.
