ING KiDS ROCK Miles: Los Angeles

October 27, 2012

What do Jim Ryun, Rod Dixon, AC Green, Bonnie Bernstein and Dr. Andy Baldwin of the bachelor fame all have in common? For starters they're all ING KiDS ROCK ambassadors promoting health & fitness throughout the country at Rock n' Roll Marathon events. They also love the Mile and in AC's case not afraid to run one (or six)!

BBTM joined ING KiDS Rock in Los Angeles as part of the Rock n' Roll Los Angeles Half Marathon festivities. In collaboration with Rod Dixon's KiDS MARATHON Foundation they bused in more than 1,000 kids to participate in fun Mile runs at Carson's Home Depot Center. Below are a few of the photographs from the picture perfect morning to celebrate the Mile and health & fitness.

Whether you're 6'8 or 3'8, everyone can run a Mile!

Jim Ryun and BBTM's David Monico with a couple of the kids getting ready to embark on their Mile.
BBTM: "Hey do you know that Jim Ryun ran a sub-4 Minute Mile?"
Kid: "He ran a Mile in under 4 minutes?!"
BBTM: "Yeah, actually 3:51."
Kid: "I'm going to run a sub-4 minute Mile today!"

Jim Ryun and Bonnie Bernstein high-fiving a finisher!
